Crushing/Pressing
You will be scheduled to crush/press your grapes. White wine requires one session; Red wine requires two sessions. |
| December: |
Racking
Wine gets siphoned from the barrel and is cleared of any sediment. Wine is returned to the barrel and topped off. |
| January: |
Tap Your Barrel Party
This is where the customers come and taste their wines for the first time since they've been "crushed/pressed" and "racked". Great Fun! |
March/April:
Chilean Grapes |
You will be notified of what grapes we will receive and you can then place your orders.
Crushing/Pressing:
You will be scheduled to crush/press.
(Process same as CA grapes) |
| Chilean Wines: |
Bottling:
Your prior year's Chilean wines get bottled. |
May-July:
California Wines
|
Bottling:
You will be scheduled to come in and bottle your wine(s) to take home. Our favorite time of year! |
| Note: |
Minimum order is 1/4 barrel. Those who make less than a full barrel are placed in a barrel (to share) with others making that same wine. There is much more flexibility in making a full barrel, so you may want to try to get friends/family to go in on your own full barrel. |
